If you’ve ever played hockey, you’ve probably heard of the term Slot. This area is located between the face-off circles on the offensive end of the rink. There are two types of slots, low and high. The low slot is in front of the goaltender and between the face-off circles. The high slot is in the middle of the ice, above the face-off circles.

But these machines have since become more popular. Depending on the game, video slot machines may have as many as 1024 paylines.
